Kruta’s Bakery is now entering the fourth generation of family baking. We opened in 1919 in E. St Louis and 1974 in Collinsville. We still use some of the same recipes that Frank Kruta brought with him from Eastern Europe almost a century ago.
Over the years the trends have changed but our mission is still the same: bake from scratch whenever possible, and use the highest quality ingredients. We also strive to maintain a high standard of customer service. We have many “old” friends who have been coming for decades, following us from our East St Louis days.
