Three layer 8′ cake
German chocolate cake got it’s name when an American baker named Samuel German developed a
type od dark baking chocolate for the Baker’s Chocolate Company.
We make our scratch German Chocolate cake the traditional way, with egg yolks, butter, buttermilk,
flour ,sugar, and german chocolate folded into egg whites. We also cook our own icing, it has egg
yolks, sugar, evaporated milk, milk, coconut and pecans.
